Liverpool and Port Sunlight  18th – 20th June 2023

3 day/2 night tour

This is a new date for this tour owing to Eurovision taking place in Liverpool in May.

After the huge success of our tour to Coventry last May, we have decided to offer a similar short break based in Liverpool, a thriving city with its array of museums and culture. Our itinerary will provide an insight into the city with our included guided tour, along with a visit to Port Sunlight Village, as well free time for you to explore parts of the city which are of personal interest.

Your itinerary in a nutshell

Day 1:  Morning departure from Cheltenham.  Visit Port Sunlight – The `model` village founded by `Soap King` William Hesketh Lever in 1888 to house factory workers. Guided tour with free time to explore and visit Lady Lever Art Gallery.  Check in to Jury`s Inn, Liverpool.

Day 2: Morning guided tour of Liverpool by coach and on foot, and free time in the afternoon to explore the city.

Day 3: Morning cruise on the Mersey Ferry, free time for lunch and perhaps to visit on of the many galleries and museums such as Walker Art Gallery, World Museum and Tate Liverpool. Return to Cheltenham arriving mid-evening.

Over the course of these few days, we will be visiting Crosby Beach to view the breathtaking life-size figures ‘Another Place’ by Antony Gormley.
