Our guest speaker is Philip Wilkinson who will talk on “Imaginary Buildings: architecture and blogging”. Philip was educated at Cheltenham Grammar School and Oxford and is one of Britain’s best known writers and speakers about architecture. His blog, English Buildings, has been running since 2007 and has twice been voted Architectural Blog of the Year. His publications include The English Buildings Book, Restoration and What the Romans Did for Us; his latest book, described by the Sunday Times as “colourful and highly entertaining”, is entitled Phantom Buildings.
