s the three hundredth anniversary of the discovery of the spring which led to Cheltenham’s establishment as a spa town.
To mark this historic anniversary the Friends have joined with the Civic Society to organise a special civic dinner at Pittville Pump Room. There will be musical and dramatic entertainment and the formal presentation of the portrait of Captain Henry Skillicorne from the Friends to the town.
Tickets cost £60 and will include a welcome drink, three course meal, coffee and petits fours and a drink for the toast. All profits will be shared between WaterAid and the Mayor’s charities.
