Holywell Music RoomDue to the popularity of the Coffee Concerts in the past, tickets have been reserved for Friends to attend the concert to be given by the highly rated Adderbury Ensemble on Sunday 19th February.   Formed in 1986  by a group of the UK’s finest young freelance musicians in the beautiful village of Adderbury, north Oxfordshire, the group have gone on to develop a global reputation and perform regularly throughout Britain and other European nations and played their first concerts in the USA last Spring. They also helped found the world-famous Oxford Coffee Concerts at the Holywell Music room, the oldest purpose-built music venue in Europe.  The concert will include work by Mozart and Faure. The coach will return from Oxford at 4.30 p.m. allowing Friends the afternoon free to explore and/or visit the Ashmolean to see the exhibition entitled “Degas to Picasso – Creating Modernism in France”  (tickets: concessions £9:  Art Fund Members £5.50).

COST PER PERSON: £25 p.p. to include concert and coffee.
